Before 2010 comes to a close...

we must also celebrate my birthday party with a BANG! In 2009, I said that 2010 is the year. And I saw that happen. But 2011 will be more fantastic than 2010. So here's to a birthday celebration/pre-New year party! Cheers to a wonderful New year! A couple of days before my birthday, I emailed everyone an OC version of the map to my house and confirmation of all the attendees. By Dec 29, I had 14 confirmed attendees! Whopee! 85% confirmation! By 4PM the house was like a well oiled machine, everyone had their own task in making sure that everything is perfect that night. My dad is in charge of making sure all the lights work from the restroom to the parking area, my brother was in charge of the party playlist and the alcoholic bev, my mom and the maids were in charge of cooking while I was the all around - taste testing, buying, errand girl and general sorting. Christmas Day Reunion

We had our annual Christmas Day reunion at Luk Foo. Lunch was a gastronomic feast of our favorites. Cold cuts, Yang Chow Fried Rice, Fish Lip Soup, Fried Pigeon, Ginger Onion Crabs, Garlic Salt and Pepper Prawns, Fried Lapu-Lapu Fillet with Sweet and Sour, Sizzling Beef Tenderloin, and ended the meal with our all time favorite, Mango Sago. Christmas Day and being a kid again...

After lunch, some of the cousins and I headed to Trinoma to unwind. We wanted to watch either Tanging Ina, Rosario or some other MMFF film but the line was so long that we decided to look around instead. We'd be crazy if we decided to line up. We're not even thrilled at the MMFF films. We decided to look around instead. Look at what we discovered! A big Police Lego!!! I loved Lego when I was a kid! Lego and Duplo. Lo and behold, a Lego store! Whopee!!! I felt like I was 8 again.
