Habagat + Rain As I was busily working on a presentation, I somehow overheard the news anchor broadcasting that it was heavily flooded in Quezon City and that people have to take more caution in going home to avoid flooded areas. I looked out my window and saw the rain pouring down on our window as if it were the end of the world. My mom called me up and told me that it was also pointless to go home since it was flooded in our area so either I wait it out or spend the night elsewhere. It was a good thing that I had a friend/officemate living in the same as I did - we were both stuck in Makati. You do feel a little better knowing that you have someone with you going through the same thing you're going through.
