DIY Project: Cityscape Headboard

For months now I have been contemplating on what to do with my room. Finally I decided on incorporating one of my favorites- cityscape. I actually had no idea where to start. In my earlier post I had a hard time deciding what color to choose from. But I finally thought that instead of changing my room color, I should just add my favorite elements. Lo and behold, my new headboard: Made from plyboard with gray paint. I spent the whole night drawing the cityscape. This is how it looks like complete with lights. The finished product with lights. I love it so :)

Color my World

When we moved to our house back in 1995, my room was wallpapered with peach ribbons on cream background. When I was in high school, I decided to change it to light violet with white flakes. In college, my mom started bugging me if I want to change my room color. But with so many colors to chose from, I was confused right from the start. I was contemplating on painting it all white with colorful accents like this picture or this Or black pink and white (Parisian chic) Or tiffany blue and white? White and magenta/orange/yellow? This is sooo confusing. I actually love colorful things and I really don't have a "favorite color in particular". So sometime in the future, I want to have a house with a lot of rooms. Each room will have different themes: oriental theme, country theme, Victorian, modern. So when somebody visits, I send them to the modern room or victorian. (Tarush!)
