REALITY reality!

Sunday is normally the R&R day but I committed to go to a children's brithday party so I had to go. Initial plan was to drive all the way to Wack Wack Golf and Country Club but I actually didn't know how to go home from there. So my brother dropped me off instead. When I arrived, they were saying grace, the party just started! The place was packed. It had around 14 tables and filled with people, and kids running around. I dropped off my gift at the entrance and was lost in a sea of unfamiliar faces and pink-ness! Finally, I was able to get a seat. I was in the same table with three kids and they all were playing with an ipad each and since the parents were all busy attending to their kids, I just ate - a small cup of congee, a piece of pandesal, a slice of ham, and some dessert - Halo-Halo With no one to talk too I was bored and way out of my comfort zone. If only I had a kid to babysit. So I asked the country club receptionist to get me a cab. It was raining and the place ...

Good PR, Bad PR

I absolutely hate being pushed around. This morning, like any other morning, I climbed aboard an fx van to go to work. One of the "barkers" suddenly opened the door and asked us to transfer to the cab, I ran like crazy because I wanted the front seat like the van only to have them ask us to go back to the van once we settled into the cab. God I was annoyed. Another person was already seated in the front seat. I get claustrophobic when I'm squished in the middle hence the need to secure the front seat. I ended up taking the MRT which I was glad to have taken since I read a lot of tweets saying that it was traffic despite the school vacation. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Back when I was in grade school, I found a high heeled shoe that looked nice in Shoe Salon, unfortunately it was a size too small for me. But the salesman managed to convince me by saying that it was the last pair they had and if I don't get it, sayang naman. An ho...

Christmas Wishlist from Debenhams

Yesterday, I met up with my parents at Shangri-La so that we can go home together. I really love the duvet cover I saw last Saturday that I couldn't stop thinking about it. So I convinced my mom to go back down the elevator and check it out. She gave her seal of approval but I was really hesitant since money does not sprout from trees nor do we pick them from the streets. I did get to buy another duvet cover that was on special sale which fitted my room perfectly as well. Anyway, since I was all crazy for duvet covers because of Ben De Lisi (Debenhams), I decided to do a quick search of his other stuff. And it was love! hahaha... I like his products! Here are a few throwpillows which I like. Aren't they cute? I liked some other stuff as well. Notice how they all revolve around my bed. Hehehe.
