West River Side

I was too lazy to get out of the house. The weather was around 32 degrees and getting a cab from our house would mean a ten to thirty minutes wait, depending on my luck. Check in time for the hotel was 2pm. I was still at home at 1:45PM. So even if Little Giants was showing on HBO, I hauled myself, duffel bag and all, out of the house at 2PM and patiently waited for a cab under the sun. Fifteen minutes and dozens of unavailable cabs later, I managed to hail a cab. Unfortunately, the cab was in a hurry. He was driving like a maniac and cursing like there was no tomorrow. To make things worse, he requested that I get off at Camp Crame because he couldn't make his next appointment in time and will be reprimanded by his boss. I half pitied the cab driver, he asked me to pay Php 50, while my bill was at Php 105 already, I had no choice but to agree under the condition that he absolutely had to get me another cab.
