I say its FREE FOOD! :)

I met up with Sarah for lunch to discuss her wedding details. It's been a long time since we saw each other and I have yet to know the details on her proposal down to my role as MOH.

We had a long lunch at Amici in Ayala Triangle.

Normally when we go to Amici, we have a hard time getting seats because the place is quite packed during lunch. Thankfully, Sarah's Dad knows the manager and we could reserve a seat.

We had the Spinach Lasagna for lunch (my favorite) to add to the lovely meal, the manager gave us free ice cream! Oh, I love it! :D

At 6pm, we were surprised when Eds and pinky came in toting two bags from Yellow Cab.

Eds decided to treat us to Yellow Cab as a post birthday celebration.

The chicken wings were so yummy!

Therefore I conclude,

MONDAYS wont be blue, if we have free food to chew :)

KRIS KRINGLE: Something Big

I never thought it would be hard to find something BIG for Php 100 pesos ($2) I short listed the following for my fashionable friend: ...a big box of tissue (useful) ...a big toblerone (but this is WAY over budget) ...a big trash bin ...a case of big oatmeal cookies (last resort) ...a big mirror ...a big bookmark (which i couldn't find anywhere) ...a BIG beer (unrelated) ...a big organizer it's quite difficult really. But I must search for something else. PRESSURE! On a side note, Jamie treated us to Pizza Hut's Lechon pizza. After eating, I felt like I would pass out at any moment due to high cholesterol but it was quite tasty if you're a fan of Lechon (roasted pig). How stuff works: Piso Bid anyone?

First of all, I am in no way, related to the owners of Pisobid.com at present (it's a small world after all) and I'm writing this blog because I like to analyze and figure out how things work :) I was reading through my Ymail when I saw this ad for Pisobid.com. The name caught my attention and all that was running through my mind was the thrill of bidding - Ebay alert hihihi. When the website opened, I saw that there were a lot of gadgets up for grabs, among the lot was an iPhone 4 which I really wanted but didn't have the heart to spend Php 40,000 for a cellphone. Upon closer inspection, they are giving away ipads, LV bags and GCs. Hmmmmm.... let's give it a try! I never did like reading instructions and policy agreements so I just purchased a 35 bids for Php 500 so that I can start bidding. It's actually pretty easy to bid, all it takes is a click of a button, money is gone. HAHAHA In the pisobid, you actually use real money to buy bid, in this case, 1 bid ...
