9.6CM changed my life

I was sound asleep one Sunday morning and I woke up with my mom shaking me and crying at the same time. They went to Hi-Precision for their yearly check-up and the radiologist discovered a 9.6cm mass in my Dad’s liver. My mom feared the worse. The radiologist asked my mom to go to consult a doctor.

9.6cm is bigger than the size of an ear ad. 9.6cm is the size of a big fruit.

We were really afraid. I saw my dad cry quietly in the corner.

I was in denial but I couldn’t help crying by myself in the bathroom.

The liver is the second largest organ in the body. It controls the flow of blood to the rest of the body and the liver is hard to treat.

Panic set in. It couldn’t be. We couldn't believe the results that we were seeing. My dad doesn’t smoke, doesn’t drink, nor does he eat fatty food. He watches his weight and exercises daily.

I feared the worst. We all feared the worst.

KRIS KRINGLE: Something Big

I never thought it would be hard to find something BIG for Php 100 pesos ($2) I short listed the following for my fashionable friend: ...a big box of tissue (useful) ...a big toblerone (but this is WAY over budget) ...a big trash bin ...a case of big oatmeal cookies (last resort) ...a big mirror ...a big bookmark (which i couldn't find anywhere) ...a BIG beer (unrelated) ...a big organizer it's quite difficult really. But I must search for something else. PRESSURE! On a side note, Jamie treated us to Pizza Hut's Lechon pizza. After eating, I felt like I would pass out at any moment due to high cholesterol but it was quite tasty if you're a fan of Lechon (roasted pig). How stuff works: Piso Bid anyone?

First of all, I am in no way, related to the owners of Pisobid.com at present (it's a small world after all) and I'm writing this blog because I like to analyze and figure out how things work :) I was reading through my Ymail when I saw this ad for Pisobid.com. The name caught my attention and all that was running through my mind was the thrill of bidding - Ebay alert hihihi. When the website opened, I saw that there were a lot of gadgets up for grabs, among the lot was an iPhone 4 which I really wanted but didn't have the heart to spend Php 40,000 for a cellphone. Upon closer inspection, they are giving away ipads, LV bags and GCs. Hmmmmm.... let's give it a try! I never did like reading instructions and policy agreements so I just purchased a 35 bids for Php 500 so that I can start bidding. It's actually pretty easy to bid, all it takes is a click of a button, money is gone. HAHAHA In the pisobid, you actually use real money to buy bid, in this case, 1 bid ...
