Tokyo, Japan: Pepper Lunch and Shibuya at Night

One thing about Japan is that you need super duper comfortable shoes because you will do a lot of walking.

My feet was just about dead by the time we landed in pepper Lunch but we still had a whole lot to cover in Tokyo so off we go!

Next stop is Shibuya station where they have a commemorative wall for Hachiko.
We crossed this intersection for about 5 times. It was quite fun. There are literally hundreds of people crossing. This is the Times Square of Japan.
See? Hundreds upon hundreds.
When the light turns green, its a mob!
Cool hair
We walked to Yoyogi Park at night and saw that they also have their running club there.
From Shibuya to Yoyogi is no ordinary feat so we stopped by McDo for a quick dinner.

McDo in japan is quite different, more sophisticated than the other countries that I have been to- Korea, Singapore, Dubai, HK
There are struggling artists everywhere in the streets of Shinjuku
harajuku station best to go there during weekends

KRIS KRINGLE: Something Big

I never thought it would be hard to find something BIG for Php 100 pesos ($2) I short listed the following for my fashionable friend: ...a big box of tissue (useful) ...a big toblerone (but this is WAY over budget) ...a big trash bin ...a case of big oatmeal cookies (last resort) ...a big mirror ...a big bookmark (which i couldn't find anywhere) ...a BIG beer (unrelated) ...a big organizer it's quite difficult really. But I must search for something else. PRESSURE! On a side note, Jamie treated us to Pizza Hut's Lechon pizza. After eating, I felt like I would pass out at any moment due to high cholesterol but it was quite tasty if you're a fan of Lechon (roasted pig). The pizza did taste a bit like Mang Tomas' lechon sauce. A big slice of Pizza hut's lechon pizza

Of Kris Kringle and Mickey

This year, we decided to have a Kris Kringle amongst the two teams. Mechanics: First KK : Buy something BIG for your teammate worth Php 100 ($2.50). Then wear an ugly sweater on Friday and have your picture taken beside the Christmas tree in the lobby. Second KK: Each person should think of a showbiz personality starting with the letter C and that will be his/her codename, then write at least 3 wishlist within the range of Php 350 ($8). Since we were all curious as to who wrote what, we decided to have another game. Guess the person behind the codename. The clues? The wishlist provided. It took me a while to guess because I kept on getting 3 names jumbled up. Finally, I guessed them all. It was fun to get a short break from work. Speaking of breaks, this is my dog, Mickey who is about 9 years old and absolutely hates getting cold baths. One time when the maids were washing the garage, he actually jumped up to a white wicker chair to avoid getting wet and having soap suds. Looks like h...
